Disposable Heroes & Coffin For Seven
Brothers
“Spend less time looking up rules; spend
more time blowing stuff up."
Disposable
Heroes & Coffin For Seven Brothers is a platoon level, fast play WWII
wargame system. The book pictured above
is the new “2nd Edition” which uses the same great game system as
before but with clearer and more consistent rules.
Game Scale: 1:1 Platoon action including support elements such as tanks/company
& regimental support, etc.
Miniature Scale: 28mm, 20mm & 15mm (15mm requires some minor adjustment
and may be better in some scenarios)
Basing:
For 28mm infantry, you can use 25mm GW round bases, 1” round fender washers or
other basing that’s similar in size.
Vehicles and guns do not need basing.
Points Based: Yes, there are
points based “army lists” for many nations that fought in WWII. You can also easily use the lists to help
build scenarios that are not points based as well.
Typical Force Size: At Eagle and Empire
we will be playing 500 point games to learn the game. Once we have it down, it may increase to 1000
points, or split 500 points “Platoon” and 500 points “Vehicles” OR “Second
Platoon”.
The typical maneuver element is a
squad, half squad, section, team, etc.
You are a platoon commander and need to concentrate on what you’re
“maneuver elements” are up to, not what each individual soldier is doing, for
the most part. The rules seem like they
will scale well to Company size and maybe even Battalion size for multiple players.
Supplements
There are supplements to the main
rulebook, containing force lists and vehicle cards. No fluff.

MINIATURES!
Let’s face it we all need more
28mm WWII Miniatures! Eagle and Empire provides
you with three manufacturers of 28mm WWII miniatures. Currently we only carry a small stock of
Battle Honors and small stocks of Artizan and Assault Group. If you want any of the ranges from these
three fine lines and you don’t see it on the shelf, please place a special
order! We’re happy to write one up for
you, even if it’s for a single blister pack.
If we get enough interest we will
stock more. Right now we can’t justify stocking so much when we don’t know
what will sell and orders can be filled within a week or two.
